Space Day 11th September
To "blast off" our topic on The Future, we undertook an immersion day all about Space. We looked at what is needed to become an astronaut and whether we have got what it takes. We didn't realise how many skills are actually needed to become an astronaut. Do you?
French Day 26th September
We learned all about the country of France including the culture and language spoken in preparation for our French lessons. Here, you can see our attempts at making models of famous French landmarks.
Safety Zone 29th September
We visited Holme Pierrepont to undertake lots of workshops by organisations concerned with keeping us safe. We heard presentations from the RNLI, the Fire Service, St Johns Ambulance, the County Council and many more. We are now prepared to be safe in society!
We were revising what makes a sentence. Here we looked at the minimum number of words needed to create a sentence. How many do you think are needed?
Learning about Earth
Ellie-Mai and Amelia attempted to create a 3D paper model of the Earth to demonstrate the difference between longitude and latitude. Ellie-Mai was extremely successful in creating her model - Well done!
